GYTS Stranded Loose Tube Armored fiber optic cable G652D Description

Regarding the GYTS model, the 250μm fiber is located in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic, filled with a waterproof filler compound inside the tube. A steel wire (sometimes used for PE sheathing for high core number fiber optic cables) is located in the center as a metal reinforcement member. The sleeve and filler are twisted around the reinforcement member to form a compact, round fiber optic cable core. The PSP is applied lengthwise to the fiber optic cable core, which is filled with a filler compound to prevent water intrusion. Finally, the fiber optic cable is completed with a PE sheathing.
